As of February 2001, about half of all computers surfing the Internet use an 800×600 pixel screen resolution. About 10% of computers use a small 640×480 pixel screen resolution. The remaining 40% of computers use a screen resolution ranging from 1024×768 pixels to 1280×1024 pixels. The default screen resolution size for a PC is 800×600 pixels.
