How many people think their local radio station has a live DJ?

Depends upon the station but usually bigger market stations (bigger cities) do this and I know of stations where the same DJ runs a whole shift in two seperate cities and works maybe 4 hours a day total on air and does other duties (producing seperate stuff for each city 500 miles from each other) Many morning shows are syndicated where it’s live but being broadcasted over many stations and sometimes recorded for later playback in other time zones. But many local stations still run Djs and run it live with the computer automation spinning the records but the Dj is there to insure the program is playing and to take requests, answer questions etc etc… and maybe why I still love local radio for. But the DJ isn’t payed for the whole show duration usually…
