How many people support animal testing?
How do you know EVERYONE else’s belief is irrelevant if you only listen to one side of the story? My own dogs have been involved in research studies to test new medications. Why? Because they needed help and there was a new medication that held some promise. So, they were ‘experimented’ on. Animal research also benefits other animals in the form of veterinary medicine. My husband has volunteered for medical studies on people. He’s taken drugs so that doctors could see the effects on him. I strongly doubt there has been a survey taken of everyone to find out how many people support animal testing. If you took the statistics from just your question here, you would find that most do. Other people’s beliefs and thoughts are ALWAYS relevant. If you want to persuade people to your line of thinking, you first have to understand and respect the beliefs of others rather then dismissing them as ‘irrelevant’.
