How many people really use self-storage and is the number increasing or decreasing?
I personally think that there are a great number of households that take out more than 1 storage unit when they rent from a self storage company. There are also a large number of businesses that make use of the facilities to hold inventory and stock for their own businesses while they are still in their fledgling stages because hey, not every company can afford to build and maintain their own warehouses too! The numbers should be adjusted to account for these scenarios.
