Latest figures indicate about 52,000 full-time residents. Numerous homes, mobile homes, and condos are used as second homes either for weekends or winter retreats. Compare that with the size of many major cities and you’ll see why it seems so uncongested here. We are lucky to have a very fine city police department made up of 60 uniformed officers.
