Kellogg’s employs about 26,000 people across 17 countries around the world. In 2003, there were 1,800 employees in its Battle Creek, MI headquarters. The company has been consolidating US operations into the Battle Creek facilities. In 2006, Kellogg USA Inc. had 5,882 employees. Therefore, while I have been unable to obtain the precise number of the Kellogg Company’s US employees–despite combing through the recent annual report and 10-K–I would estimate that between 6,000 and 9,000 are in the US, while as many as 20,000 are in one of 16 other countries around the world where the company has manufacturing capabilities.
