How many people does CASS serve?
CASS provides a total of 415 beds for single men and women at the main shelter each night. There are 310 men including 45 beds designated for veteran clients and 10 rest beds. The women’s facility houses 105 women including 9 in the working women’s dorm and 5 in rest beds. Due to high client demand, CASS will exceed occupancy periodically throughout the year. The family shelter in north Phoenix consists of 30 apartments serving approximately 120 men, women, and children, depending on family size.
