How many people died in the last eruption of the Mayon volcano in 2008?
Nobody died. In fact, the eruption was quite small. Basically just a little burp of ash 200 meters up (which is very tiny for a volcano that anyone would care about). There was evidently lava present, as a small glow could be seen from a distance at the top of the volcano, but that was it. Even the ash fallout was little more than a nuisance.
