How many people died from 2005-07 from gun violence in the U.S.?
according to the latest FBI statistics, firearms related deaths have been at an all time low in the U.S. actual figures for 2005 are 10,100 but, this is misleading because it includes all deaths, both criminal, like gang shootings, to drug deals gone bad, to police shootings, to citizens using a firearm for self defense, to suicides. This with a record number of citizens carrying legal concealed weapons. This tends to off set the claims by anti gun groupsand liberal tree huggers, that more guns in the hands of law abiding citizens would lead to blood baths in the streets. In addition, again according to the FBI, violent crime is down again for 2005 as it has been each year for that last ten rears or so. It has remained at all time lows, With the exception of murder which did climb slightly this year for the first time in 10 years. However, statistics for the countries that imposed strict gun control show a huge increase in violent crimes. This included the U.K., Australia and Canada. I
