How many people did it take to build the tower of London?
No one knows how many people it took to build the Tower of London, also called the White Tower. William the Conqueror began building the tower with Norman masons and English laborers on the site of and old stronghold in the 1070s. The original tower was finished in 1100. In 1350, work finished on additional fortifications and buildings.
