How many people/canoes will be involved in the brigade?
The brigade will be capped at 60 participants and up to 6 canoes. Register early so you wont be disappointed. There will be up to 10 support staff accompanying the brigade. A minimum of 20 participants are required to make the brigade feasible. This event is primarily funded by participants, so the nature of the brigade may change if there are a low number of participants. Q. Can my wife come along? She doesnt paddle. A. Brigade organizers are looking for interested, energetic individuals to join the ground crew. Non-paddlers are welcome to volunteer in that capacity with a minimum commitment of three weeks. Please talk to brigade organizers about the availability of positions and specific duties. All members of the ground crew are considered brigade participants and are required to complete all registration and medical forms.
