4 people can safely, comfortably and legally travel in a saloon/hatchback vehicle 4 people + 1 case each would require an estate vehice 5-6 people with light luggage can travel in a 6 seater vehicle 5-6 people with luggage each would require an 8 seat vehicle 6-7 people with or without luggage can travel in a longwheel based 8 seat vehicle. Babies, children and adults all class as 1 person according to insurance & borough council bye-laws.
