How many people can speak Esperanto all over the World?
That question is more complex to answer. We know that, for example, there are 300 million people who speak Spanish all over the world, because we know how many people live in Spain, Venezuela, Argentina, and all the Spanish speaking countries. We can also get the number of people who have taken a Spanish course in a lot of language schools and other institutions. We can also get the number of Spanish speaking people who are living in non-Spanish speaking countries. We can also make a guess at how many people learnt Spanish on their own, and this would be the weakest part of our quest.
