How many people can share a bathroom or kitchen?
A rough guide for sharing facilities in HMOs is: One bathroom and separate WC for 5 people sharing, within one floor distance of their room. One kitchen or set of kitchen facilities for every 3 people sharing, within one floor distance of their room. Large kitchens with more than one set of kitchen facilities are acceptable. Some bedsits have their own kitchenettes.
