There has been a shooting at Fort Hood military base in Texas today, with CNN reporting that twelve people are dead including one of the gunmen, with as many as 31 wounded. The incident took place at about 1:30pm Central Time today. The alleged gunman killed on the scene was identified as Major Malik Nadal Hassan. Some wounded have been taken to Darnell Army Hospital and the others were flown to Scotten White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
