Thousands of folks lined up for the official opening of the 2009 Indiana State Fair Friday. State fair officials expect some 900,000 people to visit this year’s fair. Most of those people are probably concerned about spending too much money. Because the fair runs longer this year, officials are offering more free admission days and discounts. For the first time ever, they’ve even come up with a $5 book of coupons to save money on food and among other things.
