How many people actually use the little coin pocket in their jeans?

I mostly use the little tiny coin pocket to store things that need to be washed, like small lighters, coins and field stripped cigarette butts. Mrs. Duck really appreciates finding that stuff in the washer and comes to kiss all over me and sing my praises.

It’s actually for pocket watches, a so-called fob pocket. Which tells you that it’s been obsolete for the best part of the 20.th century, and probably even before that — jeans were originally heavy-duty work pants, so I suspect that it was hardly ever used for its intended purpose. Yes, it’s amazing that it’s still on so many jeans.
