How many people a year are killed by African Honey bees?
In the U.S. only a couple of people per year are killed by the hybrid African killer bees. Their venom is no more potent than that of a normal honeybee; the problem is that killer bees swarm in greater numbers resulting in a higher number of stings. Most deaths are attributed to allergic reactions to the bee sting itself in such large numbers.
