The total number of pens available in a series depends on the amount of wood reclaimed from a particular site. In some cases Oldwood Pens was given permission to recover only a single board that produces enough wood to create as few as a dozen pens, en hence, giving opportunity for a greater value of the pens crafted because of the limited number made.
