I got this from a website: It takes about 550 peanuts to make a 12 ounce jar of creamy peanut butter. So for an 8 ounce it would be 550*8/12 which is almost 365!

With that in mind it would take approximately 367 peanuts to make an 8 ounce jar of peanut butter.

Shelled and roasted 8 oz. will be about that many peanuts. Assuming you’re making natural peanut butter, that’s all that’s in it.
