How many parking spaces will be available at Little France?
The university has 40 dedicated spaces attached to the Academic Centre. It is the intention to allocate these according to need plus spaces being made available to service engineers, MRC van, BRF unit etc. Under current planning conditions, there are 982 parking spaces on site to be shared by staff and visitors for both Phase 1 and Phase 2. Both the Trust and City Council feel, however, that 982 spaces vastly underestimates the need for parking. Therefore an application for an additional 770 parking spaces has been lodged with the City Council that is yet to make a final decision.
