As of 1st April 2008 16 days plus 8 days bank holiday, so a total of 24 days.

Depends on your contract. Some holidays are statutory, like bank holidays. The rest is up to your employer.

It depends on which company you are working for.. Every company has its own Rules about holidays.

In 2008 full time workers are entitled to 20 working days including 4 bank holidays. With effect from October 2008 this will change to 20 working days NOT including any bank holidays. The government is taking away the right of employers to include the 8 British bank holidays in the 20 day minimum annual holiday entitlement (4 in oct ’07 and the remaining 4 on oct ’08).
