How many packs of meterninty pads and breast pads do i need to get?
I would buy 3 packs of maternity pads and one pack of normal sanitary pads. You really only bleed a lot for the fist couple of days then it will die down a bit and you could just use a normal pad but the maternity ones make a great cushion for when you’ve had stitches. I would just buy one large pack of breast pads. Heres a checklist: For you: 2 nighties one for birthing one for after slippers 5 pairs undies 2 bras clothes for going home in towel soap toothbrush / paste magazine change for parking / pay phone list of phone numbers (you can’t switch your mobile on in a hospital) 1 pkt maternity pads For baby: 3 vests 4 baby grows 2 scratch mits 1 cardigan 1 snowsuit outfit for going home in blanket 2 hats 1 pk nappies dummy 5 bibs / burp cloths But most importantly dont forget your camera and spare batteries.
