Here’s the best I found: Carson Palmer-USC-2003 Drew Bledsoe-WSU-1993 Troy Aikman-UCLA-1989 John Elway-Stanford-1983 Steve Bartkowski-Cal-1975 Jim Plunkett-Stanford-1971 Terry Baker-OSU-1963 Bobby Garrett-Stanford-1954 There were a few more that were 1st rounders, but couldn’t see if they were #1 overall though.
