How many operators work in an Air Traffic Control Tower?
The number of controllers varies from airport to airport and is also based on the amount of traffic. A small airport with little traffic might be staffed by one or two people, while a busy facility, like Atlanta will have people staffing multiple positions (ground control, clearance delivery departures, arrivals, for example) and they rotate on and off duty at specific intervals.
