This combined group offers over 1,000 programs, many of which are online degree programs. This is compared to the over 7,700 accredited total higher education institutions in the U.S. (according to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation). This number constantly increases as more and more schools add online degree options or expand their existing offerings.
