How many of the seniors here suffer from arthritis in the hands and feet?

I don’t use commercial painkillers. Didn’t have much of a problem with it in my hands and feet this past winter. I try to keep my feet covered in the house with warm socks in chilly weather. If I cut up a partially frozen chicken, need to run warm water over my hands periodically so arthritis doesn’t settle in them. I use ginger products (tea mix, fresh ginger to cook with & crystallized ginger) for a natural anti-inflammatory & painkiller (helps circulation too), and chai and curry helps as well. There is an excellent arthritis cream called Triflora that I get at the health food store, it is great for sore muscles too. I believe that a diet that helps to lower the body’s Ph balance to a more alkaline state may help arthritis especially the inflammation part. I’ve stopped drinking coffee and eat less meats, little or no soft drinks & eat more fruits & veggies to help with my Ph balance, magnesium also helps and green veggies or chlorophyll is especially good.
