How many nurses and pharmacists have qualified as supplementary prescribers?
Supplementary prescribing training for nurses began early in 2003, and there are currently over 2,600 nurse supplementary prescribers in England. Pharmacists began prescribing training in September/October 2003, and around 150 pharmacists have already registered to act as supplementary prescribers.
