Personally, I like when an author keeps to a certain style. You know exactly what to expect and you know you’re going to like the story. Somtimes you just want to read a book you know is going to be good. Anyway, Stephen King has written a total of 157 stories, BUT, this includes all of his short stories and also includes an 2nd reprints of earlier stories. However, for novels, Stephen King has written 47 novels and this includes serial novels like those from the The Green Mile set. If you include illustrated novels, then it’s a total of 48 novels. These number don’t include what is going to be published after August 2006. And did you know that his first novel was Carrie? It was written in 1974.
