How many non-affiliate positions are available for each class?
Both the Intensive and Extended Format courses accept approximately 60-70 recruit positions in each class. The Extended Format only accepts non-affiliated recruits whereas the Intensive Format is comprised of primarily Deputy Sheriff Trainees and sponsored recruits from outside agencies. Any remaining space in the Intensive class can be offered to non-affiliates but the exact number varies class to class due to the amount of trainees accepted in each class.
