How many % natural are Niks products?
The short answer is we don’t know and don’t care, because we are an honest supplier of serious skin care products not out to pull a fast one on consumers with false gimmicks. Why? First, there are no such things as “all-natural” cosmetic or skin care products. While most “natural” ingredients were first discovered and isolated from plant sources, they are no longer obtained from plants because it would be too expensive, apart from being cosmetically unappealing. Instead, versions that are molecularly identical (or almost identical) are chemically synthesised in factories. For example, allantoin, a “natural” ingredient, is no longer extracted from the root of the comfrey plant, but chemically derived from uric acid. Such synthetic allantion is “bioidentical” to that derived from plant, but is no less “chemical” than any “non-natural” ingredients.
