How many mounntuin minnows can i put in a 10L fish tank?
That tank is just plain too small for the Minnows. They may be small in body but that doesn’t mean they don’t need room to swim – these are very active little fish that are better off in 50-60 litres or more with a strong filter. They are sub-tropical fish originating from fast flowing highly oxygenated streams. A 10L really is very very very tiny and I really wouldn’t recommend anything for it. That isn’t what you want to hear, but it’s the best for any potential animals you decide on – larger tanks are not that expensive, a 40 litre regular rectangular tank can be picked up for cheap usually.
