How many months can I expect to use the infant support pillow?

0

The infant support pillow can be useful until your baby is around 5 months old and able to hold his head up by himself and sit up on his own. The length of use also depends on how your baby carrier fits you. If your carrier is fitting on the high and tight side, the pillow may lift your baby up too high in the carrier. If the carrier hangs lower down on your torso it is more likely that there will be room for both your baby and the pillow inside the carrier. In sizing the carrier, the best range for it to hang with the baby in it is when the bottom of the carrier is no higher than your belly button and no lower than the bend where your leg and hip meet. If your carrier is towards the lower end of this range the pillow can be useful. A folded towel can also be used from your baby’s bottom up to the back of his head. You may wish to try that first before buying the pillow.
