For the 2000/2001 school year, Wake County has 517 mobiles (instructional and non-instructional). Approximately 13,000 students are currently in mobile classrooms. The FP&C goal is to have 92% of students in permanent seats (8% in mobiles). PLAN 2000 will reduce inventory to 395 mobiles by 2004. This reduction will mean only 10,000 students in mobiles (9%).
