How many MIS classes are required for the MIS Concentration at the MBA level?
Students must take four MIS courses to have a concentration. One of those classes is DISC 6341, which is required of all MBA students. In the event, that that course has been waived, another MIS course should be substituted. MIS courses typically taken in the MIS concentration include DISC 7373 (Business Applications of Data Base Management Systems I), DISC 7374 (Business Applications of Data Base Management Systems II), DISC 7376 (Systems Analysis and Design), DISC 7379 (Management Information Systems Management) and DISC 7387 (Management of Information Communications).
