How many miles should be on a motorcycle to be considered high milage ?
You can’t rely just on the miles on the clock. A lot depends on the previous owner. And you can tell. Even a bike that is two years old but abused will not compare to a bike that is ten years old and well maintained. I’ve known of guys who are a little on the wild side who have burned the clutches of their sport bikes in less than a year from doing burnouts and other stunts. Personally, I think used sport bikes are the least kind of used bike you want to look at. Unless, of course, you want to practice doing agressive stunt riding. I think it would be rather expensive to buy a new sport bike only to learn the best ways to trash it.
