How many miles between Carmel by the Sea and Yosemite National Park?
Carmel is about 300 miles from Yosemite. There are two ways you can get to Yosemite from Northern CA. Your best bet is to go into the “back door” of Yosemite. You can go through Merced and Mariposa to Yosemite instead of coming down to Fresno and then to Yosemite. While in Yosemite have lunch in the Awhannee hotel dinning room. The hotel was built in the early 1900’s, Teddy Roosevelt stayed there, and the dinning room has a beautiful view as well as good food. It is one of my favorite places.
