How many managed care plans are included in the directory?
The database has information on more than 1700 managed care organizations. However, those 1700 plus MCOs offer more than 4600 plan types, for example HMOs, PPOs, point of service plans, etc. Our database contains information on all aspects of managed care, HMOs, PPOs, POSs, PSOs, and specialty MCOs. There are 8 different alphabetically indexes: managed care organizations, health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, specialty HMOs, specialty PPOs, point of service organizations, miscellaneous, personnel. The directory provides service area down to county level and also can identify coverage offered and name of product.
