The Mayor’s Office of Special Events produces twenty one major events every year, they are: Mayor Daley’s Kids & Kites Festival, Great Chicago Places & Spaces, Chicago Memorial Day Parade, Bike Chicago, Chicago Blues Festival, Chicago Gospel Music Festival, Taste of Chicago, Race to the Taste, Chicago Country Music Festival, Mayor’s Cup Youth Soccer Tournament, Chicago Outdoor Film Festival, Venetian Night, Chicago Criterium Bike Race, Chicago Air & Water Show, Viva! Chicago Latin Music Festival, Chicago Jazz Festival, Celtic Fest Chicago, Halloween Pumpkin Plaza, Halloween Happening, Tree Lighting Ceremony at Daley Plaza, Mayor Daley’s Holiday Sports Festival.
