Virtually any magnification is available in principle: The DMetrix scanner rapidly captures a high-magnification image of the entire microscope slide. The user can then view that image at any magnification that is desired. The image-viewer software, digitalEyepiece&reg, provides views equivalent to a 20X, 10X, 5X, and a 0.63X virtual microscope objective.
