How Many Lobes are in Sheep Lungs.?

0

According to this simple anatomy manual I found (see the Source box), sheep have 3 lobes in the left lung and 4 lobes in the right lung. The main lobes are named cranial, middle and caudal, and the 4th left one is the accesory lobe. This document also states that the lobes are poorly defined, unlike the case of other animals (see page 8 of the pdf for a chart, and page 9 for an illustration).
