How many LaserJet print cartridges does HP recycle worldwide?
More than 10 million HP LaserJet Print Cartridges were returned and recycled in 2003 worldwide through Planet Partners. That’s an amount equivalent to around 850,000 per month. Over the year, that represents a weight equivalent to 30 Boeing 747 jets or 5.6 space shuttles at launch. More than 70 million LaserJet Print Cartridges has been recycled since the programme began, representing 13,257.6 miles – equivalent to 5 times the length of the Great Wall of China.
