How many Keystone Exams would be developed?
The state would develop 10 Keystone Exams as follows: • Three math assessments aligned with the math standards and content traditionally included in Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry courses. • Two assessments aligned with reading, writing, speaking and listening standards that assess content traditionally included in high school literature and composition courses. • Three assessments in social studies aligned with select History and Civics and Government standards that assess content included in high school American history, World history and civics and government classes. • Two assessments aligned with select standards for science and technology and environment and ecology that assess content included in high school biology and chemistry courses.
