At the natural gas storage site in Alton, Nova Scotia the project is expected to employ approximately 10 people in full time positions including a plant manager, mechanic(s), instrument technician(s), operators and an administrative assistant. It is estimated that up to 30 construction jobs will be available during the peak construction periods. Alton Natural Gas Storage Project will recruit in the local area for these highly specialized positions. In addition, local vendors will be given every opportunity to submit bids for the project-related services.
