6 Million is the round number that is used. Keep in mind that since they had the camps, the Germans had no problem throwing other people in there too. Five million other people died in the camps. Gays, Gypsies, Communists, Poles, anyone that Hitler put on the list pretty much ended up in the camps. If you want specific names, you can go to the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC and they can pull up a few million for you in a matter of minutes. Of course, since most of the records are in German, being able to read German would help.
