Length of checkout for items vary slightly: New due dates and fines effective January 1, 2010 14 days = New Adult fiction 14 days = New Adult Nonfiction 28 days = Books from general collection 1 week = Music CDs 28 days = Books on CD (limit 5) 28 days = Books on tape 28 days = CD-Roms 28 days = Playaways (limit 2) 1 week = YA & Adult Magazines 28 days = Childrens Magazines 1 week = VHS videos 1 week = DVDs (limit 5) 28 days = Books on cassette tape Fines are ten cents a day per item. The maximum fine is $10.00 per item. The library also has a paperback book exchange, a book on tape exchange for abridged tape sets only, and a free magazine table. There are no limits on the number available to borrow, or the loan period for these items.
