How many industry awards has Heron Bay won?
Heron Bay has been awarded 15 industry awards since its opening in 2004. Two of those awards are the coveted Community of the Year award given by the Greater Atlanta Home Builder’s Association and the Gold Award given by the Georgia Urban Forest Council. For the community award, a national panel of judges brought in from 40 different states toured properties throughout the metro Atlanta area and selected Heron Bay on the criteria of overall community appeal, overall design, integration of product mix, overall signage and theme and the developer’s ability to maximize aesthetic values and accentuate positive features of the land while minimizing less positive elements. The Georgia Urban Forest Council recognized Heron Bay with a Gold Award for Outstanding Development for its environmentally sound development practices and efforts in tree preservation.
