How many ID cards are issued with the INSURED Saver program?
Two ID cards: one from the underlying major medical insurance carrier and one for the Employer, self-funded supplemental portion of the program. The insurance carrier ID card will be used primarily for hospital related charges including the surgeon, assistant surgeon, and anesthesiologist. The Employer ID card is used primarily for outpatient professional charges including doctor visits, x-ray & lab charges, and other professional services.
