How many hours of Community Service Leave are given to eligible employees?
24 hours of paid leave shall be credited to each full-time employee on January 1 of each year. For eligible ¾ time employees, 18 hours of paid leave shall be credited to each employee on January 1 of each year. For eligible ½ time employees, 12 hours of paid leave shall be credited to each employee on January 1 of each year. New employees shall be credited with leave immediately upon their employment, prorated at two hours per month for the remainder of the calendar year. When an employee volunteers as a tutor or mentor, 36 hours of Community Service Leave is given.
