How many hours of clinicals will I complete?
Usual Answer(s): Extremely variable. Most courses use the DOT minimum as the goal. This is 300 hours combined between hospitals and ambulances. Ask for an average of the last class clinical hours. Better Answer: FM Ambulance students average 1,200 hours of clinicals. This gives the students the equivalent of almost a year of experience with actual patient encounters, not simulations.
